Electro colouring Process

Anodised components are electro-chemically coloured with AC to deposit metals into the ‘pores’ of anodised coating to obtain a variety of finishes. The same bath may be used to achieve some of the finishes by varying the exposure time using the same electrolyte. Others rely on specific electrolytes either by one or multiple consecutive processing steps. Duly sealed electro-coloured components provide much superior lightfastness, chemicals and corrosion resistance.
