Electroless Nickel Plating

Electroless Nickel plating is a process of plating Nickel phosphorous alloy by chemical reduction of Nickel in the presence of a reducer using an autocatalytic reaction without employing electricity. The deposits are employed mostly in functional applications. Deposits from Electroless Nickel processes are highly corrosion resistant and have low porosity. In addition, they allow for excellent hardness close to that of hard Chrome after heat treatment, outstanding wear and abrasion resistance, and thickness uniformity, irrespective of size, shape and area.
