Ductolite MPS 170 Nickel Process

Application: It is used as a sandwich layer and followed by a conventional chrome layer (0.3-0.5 microns) in a (3 &/Or 4 layers) Nickel plating system. This layer includes microporosity in the Nickel layer (>10000 pores per sq. cm), across the whole working current density range.

The Growel Advantage: When chrome coating is applied on top of this uniform microporous Nickel Chrome coating, it easily meets automotive requirements. It has superior (1.5 times) corrosion resistance properties when compared to duplex Nickel Chrome deposits with identical plating thickness. It is highly suitable for improving corrosion resistance in the CASS test.
